Over the last few years bamboo has seen an explosion in popularity—a phenomena largely attributable to bamboo’s contemporary aesthetic and extremely fast growth rate. Unlike most hardwoods, which typically require twenty years between planting and harvesting, bamboo can be harvested every five to seven years.
