32nd session of Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee in Cairo to take place from May 7 to 9

The preparatory work began for the 32nd session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee, which will take place in Cairo from May 7 to 9.
The main objective of this event is to enhance the economic, trade, investment, and cultural connections between Egypt and Jordan.
During the previous Joint Committee meeting (31st session), the Prime Ministers of Egypt and Jordan oversaw the signing of 12 cooperation agreements that covered a wide range of fields.
These agreements were focused on economic and development policy formulation and experience exchange, as well as a memorandum of understanding between Egypt's Financial Regulatory Authority and Jordan's Securities Commission.
Other significant documents included executive programs for environmental protection (2025/2023) and social affairs (2024/2023), a cooperation program between Jordanian News Agency and Egyptian Middle East News Agency, an executive program for cultural cooperation (2026/2023), and an executive program for technical cooperation in vocational training (2024/2023).
The upcoming meetings will involve active participation from various Egyptian Ministries, with experts representing the Ministry of International Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Supply, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, and Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.
In addition, representatives from the National Postal Authority, General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, Consumer Protection Agency, Egyptian Drug Authority, Supreme Council for Media Regulation, and General Authority for Industrial Development will also be present.
A delegation of Jordanian experts, consisting of representatives from the Ministries of Industry, Trade and Supply, Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Energy and Mineral Resources, Labor, Agriculture, and Transport, as well as the Customs Department and the General Food and Drug Administration, will participate in the joint committee.
