President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed ambassadors from 12 countries in a diplomatic ceremony, further strengthening Egypt's bilateral relations with the global community. The new ambassadors represent a diverse group of nations, including the United States, France, Saudi Arabia, Albania, Sudan, Iraq, Côte d'Ivoire, Tajikistan, Morocco, Burundi, Somalia, and Mozambique. President Sisi expressed his warm welcome to the ambassadors and extended his best wishes for their success in their new missions. He emphasized Egypt's commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with their respective countries and underscored the importance of continued consultations and coordination on various issues of mutual concern. Among the distinguished ambassadors are Eric Chevallier from France, and Herro Mustafa Garg from the United States. Garg was confirmed by the US Senate as the ambassador to Egypt in November 2023. After presenting her credentials, Garg commended the partnership between the United States and Egypt as multi-faceted, deep, and strategic. “Together, we are working to respond to security and humanitarian challenges, to find innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of climate change, to develop and harness the full potential of the Egyptian economy and grow our commercial ties, and to invest in closer ties between the American and Egyptian people through educational and cultural engagement,” she said. She expressed her commitment to work with the Egyptian government and people to develop and expand Egypt-US partnership, built on the foundation of mutual understanding, trust, and respect. Additionally, Saleh bin Eid Al-Husseini represents Saudi Arabia, Omar Ntezimbere represents Burundi, Mohamed Ait Ouali represents Morocco, Sami Shiba represents Albania, Imad-Eddin Mustafa Adawi represents Sudan, and Qahtan Taha Khalaf represents Iraq. The other ambassadors who presented their credentials today include Parviz Mirzozoda from Tajikistan, Dole Gueu Albert from Côte d'Ivoire, Ali Abdi Awaare from Somalia, and Sérgio Nathú Cabá from Mozambique.
