Expansion and Collaboration
In 1982, our company expanded its operations by establishing a boiler and pressure vessels factory in Egypt. Mrs. Ferial Elkholy designed the factory, while Mr. Dennis Baldwin, the founder of Dennis Baldwin & Sons Ltd., provided the technical expertise. To honor the friendship between the founders in the UK and Egypt, the company was named Baldwin Engineering.
Manufacturing Agreement
Two years later, in 1984, Baldwin Engineering, Egypt signed an under-license manufacturing agreement with Dennis Baldwin & Sons Ltd., UK. This agreement allowed Baldwin Engineering to manufacture steam and hot water boilers in Egypt under the supervision of the Lloyds Register. Consequently, this collaboration enabled the company to serve Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East. Since then, the factory has produced more than 400 boilers and 4200 other products up to 2019.
