Arab Alloys stands as the first private ferroalloy producer in Egypt and Africa. The company started operations to support Egypt’s push for industrial growth. It directly contributes to reducing imports by offering locally produced metallurgical products. Specifically, Arab Alloys focuses on ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, and silicon manganese. These alloys serve as key inputs for the iron and steel industries in Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa.

Furthermore, the founders, led by Misr Company for Measurement and Control, bring over 30 years of experience. They have worked in metal supply and smelting furnace operations. With this strong background, they created an advanced industrial complex for metal oxidizers. Their goal is to support Egypt’s economy while protecting the environment.

What We Do

At Arab Alloys, we specialize in producing ferrosilicon—an alloy made from iron and silicon. The silicon content typically ranges from 15% to 90% by weight. This alloy plays a key role in steelmaking, as it removes oxygen and strengthens the steel.

For lower silicon grades, we use blast furnaces lined with acid fire bricks. In contrast, we produce higher silicon content alloys using electric arc furnaces. To maintain efficiency, we rely on high-quality raw materials and modern production techniques.

Moreover, our processes are designed to be environmentally friendly. We reduce waste, save energy, and produce valuable byproducts like microsilica, which supports cleaner manufacturing.
