Company (EETC), has earmarked LE 7 billion for investments aimed at transmitting electricity from renewable energy projects and integrating it into the national grid by 2025, according to a statement reported by Asharq Bloomberg.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>These projects will involve the construction of transformer stations to transfer energy generated by solar and wind power plants to transmission lines.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Additionally, the initiative will establish overhead power lines to connect this electricity to the unified national grid.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The EETC has already commenced work, as the Ministry of Electricity plans to accommodate between 4 and 5.5 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by the end of 2025.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This move is part of Egypt\u2019s broader goal to increase the share of renewable energy in the country&#8217;s energy mix to 42 percent by 2035.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Most of the transmission projects are concentrated in southern Egypt, specifically in the governorates of Aswan, Minya, and the Red Sea, which serve as hubs for the nation\u2019s solar and wind energy
