{"id":18115,"date":"2025-06-25T12:29:28","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T12:29:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/madeinegyptgate.com\/?post_type=factories&#038;p=18115"},"modified":"2025-06-25T12:29:28","modified_gmt":"2025-06-25T12:29:28","slug":"melcomec","status":"publish","type":"factories","link":"https:\/\/madeinegyptgate.com\/ar\/factories\/melcomec\/","title":{"rendered":"Melcomec"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"after_section_1\" class=\"main_color av_default_container_wrap container_wrap fullsize\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"template-page content  av-content-full alpha units\">\n<div class=\"post-entry post-entry-type-page post-entry-122\">\n<div class=\"entry-content-wrapper clearfix\">\n<section class=\"av_textblock_section \">\n<div class=\"avia_textblock  \">\n<p><strong>Melcomec<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1983:<\/strong>\u00a0MODERN ENGINEERING COMPANY (MEC) was established in Egypt as the sole agent of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation for Elevators &amp;Escalators.<br \/>\n<strong>1983:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied First Mitsubishi elevators in Egypt at Giza Area.<br \/>\n<strong>1985:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied the first high speed Mitsubishi Elevators with speed 3.5 m\/sec at \u201cWorld Trade Center Project\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>1986:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC secured the first 5 stars hotel project \u201cMERIDIEN LE CAIRE\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>1997:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC secured \u201cBibliotheca Alexandrina\u201d as first monumental Project.<br \/>\n<strong>1998:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied the first high speed Mitsubishi Elevators with speed 5 m\/sec at \u201cCAIRO MERIDIEN HOTEL\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>1999:<\/strong>\u00a0Company was founded as a Joint Venture (J\/V) between the Japanese Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) and Modern Engineering Company (MEC) in Egypt.<br \/>\n<strong>2000:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied the first high speed Mitsubishi Elevators with speed 6 m\/sec at \u201cNile City Building\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>2002:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC started to supply the first phase at \u201cSMART VILLAGE at 6th October\u201d with total number of 190 units.<br \/>\n<strong>2006:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied high speed Elevator \u201cAPOLO 18\u201d at TV Building.<br \/>\n<strong>2008:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied 200 units at \u201cMADINTY Project\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>2009:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC was the responsible for elevators\u2019 renovation at \u201cRAMSSES-Cairo Train Station\u201d and \u201cSIDI GABER-ALEX Train Station\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>2009:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied more than 200 units at \u201cPalm Hills Residential Project\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>2010:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied 108 units at \u201cNEW GIZA\u201d.<br \/>\n<strong>2015:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC celebrated with the grand opening of its COMPLEX and Training Center at 6th October.<br \/>\n<strong>2016:<\/strong>\u00a0MELCO-MEC supplied the first elevators at the New Administrative Capital\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\"><a href=\"https:\/\/melcomec.net\/history\/\">Our Website<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":18127,"template":"","sectors":[488],"class_list":["post-18115","factories","type-factories","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","sectors-manufacture-of-elevator-escalator"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v24.2 (Yoast SEO v27.5) -
