Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is scheduled to meet his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidab in Ankara by the end of the week.

The visit comes during a critical humanitarian situation in Gaza and after an Iranian strike against Israel.
It is also part of increasingly closer ties between Egypt and Turkey, which are making amends after years of disagreements.
